The atelier
Where, how, and why it takes time.
The fabric
A cotton poplin woven in Europe, chosen for its structure and its softness. It falls straight, it holds the fold of the collar, it ages without losing its shape. A shirt that sags by noon is not a shirt.
The making
Each piece is sewn in a family atelier in Poland that specializes in shirts and works for a small number of houses. The runs are short, and the hands are always the same.
The time
A design goes through several prototypes before it is approved. We rework the line of a shoulder, raise a collar, move an opening by a few millimeters. These back and forths take months and remain invisible. That is precisely their purpose.
The quantities
Each capsule is produced in a quantity set in advance, with no restock. A piece that sells out does not come back. Sometimes a capsule leaves a few pieces behind: they join the house archives, in limited numbers, until the very last one.
The word
This is why the house speaks of creations, and never of products.
